Job Summary:
Ag Valley Co-op is looking for an experienced Diesel Tractor/Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our diesel-powered tractors and trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Routine maintenance includes oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our diesel tractors and trailers.
- You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on our diesel tractors and trailers using advanced diagnostic tools.
- A strong problem-solving skillset and attention to detail are essential in this role, as you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components.
- You will also be responsible for replacing worn or damaged parts, such as brakes, tires, and suspension components.
- In addition, you will maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on our diesel tractors and trailers.
