Job Summary

As a BOH shift lead, you will assist the Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and food safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the Chef on menu planning, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized effectively.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Monitor food costs and assist in maintaining budgetary goals.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and culinary roles within fine dining or catering settings.
- Strong knowledge of food management practices, including inventory control and menu planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing a dietary department is a plus.
