Agape Academy for Autism and Neurodiversity is looking for compassionate, patient, and dedicated Daycare Teachers and Classroom Support Staff to join our team at our new daycare designed for children with autism and related neurodiverse conditions. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about providing exceptional care and support to children in a safe, nurturing, and educational environment.
Required:
1) TEACHERS: Bachelors Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Development, Psychology, or related field.
2) CLASSROOM SUPPORT STAFF: Associates Degree, High School Diploma
2) Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.Experience in working with children ages infant through 5.
Job description for Teachers:
- Assist in developing individualized plans to meet each child's unique needs.
- Monitor progress and communicate effectively with parents and team members.
- Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Knowledge of autism, related neurodiverse conditions, and behavioral strategies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.

- JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CLASSROOM SUPPORT STAFF:
- Assist Teacher in all duties of the classroom.
- Diapers, potty, and hygiene.
- Assistance with lunch and snack.
- Communicate with Teacher and Parents.
- Attend child development trainings.
- Interact with children using natural environment learning.
- Assist with cots and naps.
- Assist with sanitizing the classroom each day.
