The Role: We are seeking a Medical Liaison Specialist to coordinate and generate new hospice business in existing and new accounts, identify new markets, and maintain existing service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with patients, medical professionals, and referral sources, and possess a strong understanding of hospice services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and generate new hospice business in existing and new accounts
- Identify new markets and maintain existing service
- Develop and maintain relationships with local hospitals, medical professionals, and referral sources
- Provide education and training on hospice services to the community and medical profession
- Cultivate partnerships with healthcare organizations and community groups to promote our services
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate Degree required in the field of study or proven work experience in a health-related field
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
