Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team of caregivers. As a LPN, you will work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse to conduct patient visits and provide routine care, while communicating with the care team, the patient and their family.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse
- Communicate effectively with the care team, patients and their families
- Participate in patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements
- A current state license as a licensed practical nurse
- 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs
