What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Salesperson position at Agape Chic Consignment Boutique?
Agape Chic Consignment Boutique in Brandon, FL is looking for one retail salesperson to join our 6 person strong team. We are located at 151 E Bloomingdale Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable. Up to 25 hours per week. We are a No Drama Mama workplace. Although you will not work everyday, this position requires open availability. Mon-Sat, 9:45am-6:00pm. After training you will work approximately 3 days per week. You will need to be available to cover shifts for co workers when needed.
Responsibility
- Welcome customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
- Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
- Advise customers by providing information on products.
- Process payments by totaling purchases; process checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Use judgment to solve customer problems.
- Maintain scheduling commitments
- Once trained, check in consignment, tag, steam and other floor duties.
Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent verbal skills
- Able to problem solve as issues arise
- Needs to have a flexible schedule. Once trained you will tend to have the same days each week, unless someone is on vacation or calling out. Presently this position would be primarily Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
