Afternoon Closer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Closer to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with young children, including toddlers. As a Closer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children under your care while fostering a positive learning environment. This person will be responsible and reliable to close at the end of the day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in various activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide attentive care to preschoolers and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Educate children through play-based learning, fostering their cognitive and social skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning indoors and outdoors.
• Collaborate with other staff members to implement educational programs and activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Administer first aid as needed, ensuring the health and safety of all children.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Responsible to thoroughly close our program at the end of day.

Experience

• Previous experience in children.
• Background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with first aid practices and emergency response protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A genuine love for educating and nurturing young minds is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 – 15 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• No nights
