Full-time or Part-time Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist
Agape Chiropractic Laser Clinic is an Eastern Iowa leader in the most current technology and non-invasive treatments for chronic pain management. We are hoping to invite another Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join team for maternity leave coverage. This opportunity has the potential to be a long-term position.

The candidate who best fits this role will enjoy one-on-one patient care as well as performing receptionist duties. The person we are looking for must be at least 18 years of age, with a minimum of a high school diploma. No certifications or licenses are required for the role – certification and training requirements will be provided. Our new team member must be able to work shifts between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule. (Clinic hours and needs vary daily within those times.)
Our patients are dear to us and we expect someone in this role to excel in empathetic and friendly communication to bond with our patients professionally. As a chiropractic assistant in our clinic, you will be active and engaged with patients most of the day.
Duties and Responsibilities
- - Welcome patients and check them out
- - Verify insurance benefits and payment
- - Perform therapeutic treatments (certification and training is provided)
- - Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
- - Abide by HIPAA laws (certification and training is provided)
- - Maintain minor cleaning needs (vacuuming, etc)
- - Stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- - Lift 50 pounds
Education and Experience
- - Must be 18 years of age
- - High school diploma or GED equivalent required is required.
- - Healthcare certification/degree (CNA, CMA, LMT, Esthetician) is required.
- - Associate or Bachelor's degree is desirable.
- - 3 years experience in healthcare, office, or customer service role.
- - Experience with chiropractic medicine preferred.
- - Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare office setting desirable
- - Minimum of 1 year experience of direct care in a healthcare setting is desirable
