- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing medical documents
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness and stocking necessary supplies
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Conduct basic laboratory tests such as urine analysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Provide patient education on medication instructions, diet plans, and self-care techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in administering medications accurately and safely
- Experience in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques and emergency response protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation
