Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Revit and rendering software, preferably Lumion or D5 or with a readiness to learn Lumion and D5. The role involves working with the lead architect on projects from initial conception through to the completion of full construction documents. This position requires a keen understanding of residential and light commercial design and construction and the ability to meet with clients to understand and fulfill their design needs. We are looking for someone with a positive outlook who can take that positive outlook into problem solving situations that often come up in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural designs for residential and light commercial projects.
- Create comprehensive construction documents and ensure they adhere to Agape Design’s standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences and translate these into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Utilize Revit for creating and managing design documentation and produce high-quality renderings using rendering software (Lumion).
- Work closely with a supervisor to follow specific design and documentation standards set by Agape Design.
- Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Meeting with clients to gain understanding of vision and direction of projects.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Revit and rendering software. Familiarity with Lumion or D5 is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of the construction process and construction details.
- Ability to quality control your own work verifying that it fits with the written design standards.
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Capability to follow detailed direction from a supervisor and adapt to Agape Design’s documentation practices.
- 4-year college degree from an accredited architecture/design school.
