Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care, dementia care, and senior care, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This role requires a patient and observant individual who can effectively monitor and respond to the needs of those under their care.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor patients' health by observing their physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist with mobility and transportation for residents as needed.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Ensure that residents' rights are upheld and respected at all times.
- Support residents with memory care strategies tailored to their individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
- Document patient observations and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and patient care best practices.
- Experience in memory care, dementia care, and senior care settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to observe and assess patients’ needs effectively.
- Familiarity with resident rights and direct support principles.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
