Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must pass background checks pursuant to the Wisconsin Caregiver’s Background Check Law and WI DCF 56 licensing requirements.
- Be mentally and physically capable of assisting participants based on their needs.
- A strong passion for helping others with mental and physical disabilities.
- Ability to make decisions in emergency situations or day to day crisis management.
- Need to stay awake during the entire overnight shift.
- Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, making meals, toileting, administering medication, and transportation, while following their individualized support plans.
- Support youth in a variety of settings and plan recreational activities.
- Follow established menus and dietary restrictions, while maintaining adequate food/supplies.
- Encourage personal growth and development.
