Physical Therapy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team in Pylesville. In this role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments.

• Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment
• Apply hot and cold therapy treatments under therapist supervision
• Welcome and guide patients through their appointment process
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Handle basic administrative tasks including phone calls and patient documentation
• Monitor and report patient progress to physical therapists
• Ensure proper setup and breakdown of therapy equipment
• Assist patients with mobility and exercise routines as directed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred (1 years)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
• Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment
• Proficiency in basic computer systems for scheduling and documentation
• Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and safety protocols
• Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate approach to patient care
• Basic understanding of physical therapy procedures and terminology

Employment Type: Part-Time

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15 -$16 hourly. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
