Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a toddler teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of toddler-aged children. Your role will involve helping in planning engaging activities, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a positive classroom environment by utilizing effective behavior management techniques.
- Engage with children in daily activities, encouraging their curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Communicate regularly with the lead teacher with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working with children in a early education setting or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Previous experience as a nanny or caregiver for toddlers is a plus.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and organized.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their developmental needs.
