Assistant Coaches will be responsible for: Assisting Head Coach in inventory of all equipment.Assisting Head Coach in verifying all clearance forms.Assisting Head Coach in repairing and maintaining all equipment.Assisting Head Coach in supervising team and adhering to the Agawam Athletic Department Supervision Protocol.Assisting Head Coach in reporting game results to the media.Assisting the Head Coach in checking the bus schedule.Assisting Head Coach in determining letter and award winners for post-season honors.Assisting Head Coach in encouraging injury prevention, safety and health practices.Assisting Head Coach in collecting equipment issued to athletes and holding students responsible for lost or damaged equipment.Assisting Head Coach in attending all-league meetings.Assisting Head Coach in informing the Athletic Director of any unsafe athletic facility.Assisting Head Coach in seeing that team conforms to standards and rules of Agawam Public Schools, the P.V.I.A.C. and MIAA.
