Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at AGC Automotive Americas. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment. Located in Richmond, KY, you will contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch automotive glass products.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to ensure all facility/utility equipment is running properly and efficiently
- Respond promptly to calls when equipment malfunctions
- Repair, rebuild, inspect, calibrate, install, set up and maintain facility/utility equipment
- Perform the maintenance tasks of inspection, monitoring, repair/replacement, reinstallation and testing of the facility equipment/systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment during plant shutdown
- Enter daily readings into computer system, generate daily and monthly reports and communicate results working with the CMMS program
- Operate various types of power lift equipment and perform overhead work
- Read/interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications for proper equipment operation
- Complete the General Maintenance Training Program
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents.
- Consistent outstanding performance level in safety, work ethic and professionalism
- Attention to detail with demonstrated ability in problem solving
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Leadership skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Desire to work as part of a team and have good work ethic
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and precision measurement tools

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 to 4 year Technical Degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience with facilities/utilities maintenance
- Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
