ERP Specialist, Manufacturing

About the Role
As an ERP Specialist, Manufacturing, you will play a key role in implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (AX D365) within our manufacturing operations. You will represent Manufacturing in the ERP project team, collaborating closely with Supply Chain and IT to structure and configure manufacturing data, define workflows, and ensure the system fully supports production needs.
Your expertise in routes, formulas, and manufacturing workflows will help drive efficiency, compliance, and process improvements in our Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) environment. Key Responsibilities
Optimize and configure AX D365 to streamline manufacturing workflows and improve efficiency.
Create and maintain routes and formulas based on Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accurate production workflows, cycle times, and resource requirements.
Translate complex manufacturing needs into structured ERP data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Act as a key liaison between Manufacturing, IT, and Supply Chain to drive ERP adoption and process improvements.
Develop training materials and conduct workshops to empower manufacturing teams in ERP best practices.
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify optimization opportunities and align ERP functionalities with operational needs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all ERP-related activities.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of ERP configurations, modifications, and business processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus.
Solid understanding of BOMs, routes, formulas, and manufacturing workflows.
Experience working in a CMO biologics pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate across teams.
Passion for structured data management and ERP system configuration.
Ability to analyze operations holistically and transform them into ERP-driven solutions.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
