Technician for Mammalian Core Buffer Team

At AGC Biologics A/S (AGC), we develop biopharmaceutical processes and run GMP production of proteins and cells, from early state test until commercial production. As we are a Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), the customer is in centrum, and we have a high level of service to our customers.
The department
As our new technician in Manufacturing you will be part of a professional and dedicated team consisting of both scientists and technicians. You will experience a very dynamic working environment with a high variety of tasks, and an environment where cGMP production never becomes routine.
We work in close collaboration with other teams and departments who are dependent on the solutions and services we deliver.
Responsibilities and tasks
As member of our Mammalian Core Buffer Team you will work with:
- Preparation and filtration of buffer solutions from small scale (< 5 kg) to large scale (up to 2000 kg).
- Daily planning of work on the line, ordering of raw materials and disposables if needed and approval of finalized buffers.
- Simple analytical methods as pH, conductivity, osmolality etc.
- Transport and surface sanitization of production equipment and disposables.
- Daily control and responsibility for equipment and rooms.
The work will be on day/evening/night/weekend shift according to shift plan.
We are continuously working on improvements and optimization of existing processes and routines and support a strong learning environment where we within relatively short time, become familiar with a variety of new processes and technologies.
Experience and competencies
You have an operator/technical/laboratory background, GMP experience, is a proactive team player, flexible, positive and you:
- Can work according to written procedures in English.
- Can work independently and with responsibility for own tasks.
- Have experience with work in clean rooms.
- Can work in an organization with constant customer audits and inspections.
As our corporate language is English, all our procedures and GMP related documents are in English. It is therefore important that you can read English without problems, and we also appreciate the ability to speak English.
