Job Summary
Performs basic QC analysis and documents activities according to SOPs following good manufacturing processes (GMP) and demonstrates ability to learn QC methods, procedures and systems.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Receives, routes, and stores QC samples using LIMS Labware software.
- Perform general QC testing such as Appearance, pH, Osmolality, Conductivity, and Protein Concentration.
- Performs sample collection as defined in SOPs using aseptic technique.
- Perform basic QC equipment maintenance including controlled temperature units and QC testing instruments like balances, pH meters, and water baths etc.
- Participate with test method transfers, qualifications, and validations.
- Assist in drafting technical documents including test methods, validation documents, and deviations.
- Assist with the generation of SOPs related to test methods and product release.
- Perform data verification and data entry.
- Supports projects/initiatives/team goals by delivering on all assigned tasks.
- Analyzes issues and makes decisions based on standardized processes and procedures under direct supervision.
- Seeks opportunities for continual learning.
- Receives close and regular instruction, guidance and direction from others in the form of steps and tasks.
- Develops skills in communicating concepts and interacting with others.
- Receives and logs external materials shipped to QC. Assists with the preparation of sample shipments to clients and vendors for QC testing.
- Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

- Identifies and resolves semi-routine and recurring problems within own work area.
- Evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/BA degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. Equivalent education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
