Position: Chemical Process Technician – Finishing

We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. About The Role
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with chemicals in a manufacturing environment
- Able to set-up, mix and deliver production chemicals in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to use a computer (MS Office products, basic proficiency) for producing documents, entering data into systems, setting up appointments, writing up reports about production activity or quality, checking and responding to email, acknowledging policies and participating in organizational communications and surveys
- Willing and able to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines and complete special projects
- Requires protective safety apparel, including but not limited to clean room suit, safety glasses, safety shoes, chemical aprons, safety aprons, and respirator when on the manufacturing floor
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, safety rules, and production materials
- Must be able to physically work in a variety of positions and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and operates manual/automatic equipment to process product through cleaning processes
- Follows strict safety policies, including wearing Personal Protective Apparel, due to working with various acids, and following strict cleaning protocol
- Ensures the correct strength/mix of the acid in the tanks
- Operates a baking furnace, including setup
- Finishes product with a fine sandblast process
- Inspects product to ensure product quality
- Packages finished product in preparation for shipping
- Performs daily 6S tasks to ensure department and equipment cleanliness and organization
