AGC Heat Transfer, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alfa Laval, AB, is the leading OEM of sanitary plate heat exchangers in North America, manufacturing plate heat exchangers specifically designed for sanitary applications. AGC offers complete heat exchangers, services as well as upgrades to plate packs, gaskets and spares that fit multiple brands. In addition, AGC offers Field Leak Testing and inspections of plate heat exchangers that meet the 3-A sanitary standard.
AGC Heat Transfer consists of three manufacturing/service facilities (Bristow, VA, Fairview, OR & Pleasant Prairie, WI) with about 110 employees (70 OR / 20 VA / 20 other locations). Currently, most of the sales are in the US & Canada. AGC Heat Transfer has a strong engineering culture with a heavy emphasis on customer service and technical/consultative sales.

Based in Fairview, OR, the CAD Operator will work with the Sales and R&D teams to provide customer documents and internal documentation of all products within AGC. Major focus will be on learning and supporting the sales team to develop end user drawing packages that describe our equipment.

Job Description
Based in Fairview, OR, the CAD Operator will work with the Sales and R&D teams to provide customer documents and internal documentation of all products within AGC. Major focus will be on learning and supporting the sales team to develop end user drawing packages that describe our equipment.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and distribute end user drawing packages.
- Coordinate with sales and production on the drawing package timing.
- Develop a working knowledge of PHE streaming design and major components.
- Maintain 2D CAD library of frame components and documentation aids.
- Develop illustrated part list documents from 3D models.
- Effectively learn and utilize custom software tools.
- Other specifically assigned tasks where needed by the company.

- AS Degree in Computer Aided Design or equivalent experience.
- Experience with 2D Draftsight/AutoCAD
- Experience with Solidworks.
- Experience with MS Office.
- Able to create and adhere to a project plan or timeline.
- Cooperates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals.
