Job Description
The Safety Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of all AGC locations, including Fairview, OR, Bristow, VA, Pleasant Prairie, WI, and Ft. Worth, TX. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to maintain compliance with Local, State, and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulatory requirements.
This individual will assist in conducting regular training sessions on health and safety policies, practices, and regulations. They will also coordinate with facility leaders to ensure corrective actions are implemented after audits and inspections. Additionally, this person will work closely with the Alfa Laval Environmental, Health and Safety Team US to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in an employee Health and Safety role and a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university. They should be knowledgeable in safety protocols, hazardous materials handling, OSHA regulations, Workers Compensation Law, and other regulatory requirements.
