JOB SUMMARY:
The AG|CM Intern position provides an opportunity for soon-to-be, or recent, undergraduates an opportunity to learn valuable hands-on experience in their chosen career. This position also introduces new opportunities for the AG|CM family to work side-by-side with the next generation of Construction and Project Managers, Estimators, Quality Assurance Inspectors, or administration staff through mentorship and collaboration.
The Intern will begin his or her career with AG|CM with an overview of the Professional Project Management and Estimating industry by observing each facet and sector of the company. There will be frequent opportunities to communicate through an evaluation and monitoring process. Training will consist of in-person, pre-taped video courses, and webinars specific to the responsibility being observed at that time.
Internship typically lasts 18-24 months (to include summers and post-graduation). Upon successful completion of the intern’s objectives, outlined by the supervisor/s, the positions of Assistant Construction Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Estimator I, Assistant Quality Assurance Inspector, or administrative staff assistant can be considered for advancement.
This position is an important part of the AG|CM corporation and its strategic roadmap.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A college-ranked junior or senior in pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited program OR having graduated from a college program in the last 6 months
- If currently in pursuit of degree, the candidate must have good academic standing and meet all requirements of the college or university internship program
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week
- Recent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Involvement with campus or community volunteer activities in the last 12 months
- Understands the need to keep business information confidential (internally and externally) – always!
- A person who thrives within a team atmosphere and can take direction from others to achieve their highest potential across the enterprise while exhibiting strong work ethics with “best-in-class” initiative, skills, and business acumen
- Positive outlook, energetic, forward-thinking, and creativity are essential
EDUCATION:
- High School graduate or equivalency certificate

- Current valid Driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
