AGCO is seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated
- Continuous Improvement Intern
- to join our
- Grain & Protein Manufacturing & Quality team
- based in
- Assumption, IL.
- This is a paid, full-time internship during the summer of 2025 at our Grain & Protein headquarters in Assumption, IL. Housing is provided for students who reside more than fifty miles from Assumption. Students are required to work forty hours per week on-site at our Assumption office from May through August 2025. The Continuous Improvement Intern will be tasked with the responsibility of improving material delivery and assembly processes utilizing Production System principles in order to maximize efficiency.
- Your Impact
- Participate in 5s activities, audits, and structured kaizen events
- Conduct time studies, prepare standard work instructions, and contribute to waste identification for manufacturing processes
- Operator station layout development and implementation using APS (AGCO production system) principles and philosophies as required
- Part presentation design and implementation
- Provide support in problem solving activities and on custom fixture design, build, and implementation
- Your Experience and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a college undergraduate or graduate degree in manufacturing, science, or engineering
- Experience with MS Office Suite
