What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Manager, JBSA-Lackland, TX position at AGEISS Inc?
AGEISS is looking for a Facility Manager to provide support at the Aquatics Center onsite at JBSA Lackland, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide onsite management of facilities including oversight, physical inspections and coordination of repairs
- Oversight of maintenance policies and procedures for properties under their supervision
- Conduct facility inspections on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual basis
- Other general facility management duties as assigned
- Clean water with net, remove debris
- Insert, remove, empty, and replace automatic cleaners daily
- Test water (3) times each day (Monday – Friday) per regulations
- Maintain inventory list of required water chemicals weekly; submit a request to order as needed
- Refill required chemicals in tank as necessary
- Work and coordinate with facility stakeholders to include Civil Engineering (CE) representatives on service request coordination/approvals
- Coordinate all information and activities with JBSA facility management for use requirements
- Utilize government systems (NexGen) to submit and track service requests through the CE process
- Collect, track, analyze and present facility data
- Prepare status updates on submittal and tracking service requests for facilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years’ experience as a Facility Manager supporting government facilities
- Associate’s degree in engineering, construction, or facility management.
- Related specialized training and 10 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Experience with facility and pool maintenance
- Familiarity with maintaining inventory and purchasing
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge of a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning complex technical requirements for facilities and equipment
- Knowledge of safety and security practices for government facilities
- Familiarity with Air Force Civil Engineer processes specifically NexGen and facility inspections
- Expertise with programs in the Microsoft Suite
- Have or obtain Certified Pool Operator certification (training will be provided if necessary)
- Facility Manager Professional certification a plus
- An adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), Common Access Card (CAC) preferred within the last two (2) years or the ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required
