Cybersecurity Engineer

Richmond, VA

  • Performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized information assurance problems. Tasks involve integrating electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems or technology problems related to IA requirements.
  • Analyzes information security requirements. Applies analytical and systematic approaches in resolving problems of workflow, organization, and planning.
  • Provides security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Minimum Experience :

  • Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience
  • DOD Secret Clearance
  • Must be eligible for IT I
  • Relevant certifications meeting DOD 8570.01-M IAT Level III
  • Computing Environment : MCSE for Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 or 2019, or MC : Azure SAE
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft AD CS, SafeNet HSM's, Axway Validation Authority, Axway Desktop Validator, 90 Meter, and HID ActivClient, and Cloud Key management, Cloud support for AZURE and AWS to include, if possible, AZURE Keystores and AWS KMS.
  • U.S. Government Certificate Practice Statement(CPS) and Registration Practice Statement(RPS) familiarity.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services(ADCS).
  • Knowledge of Axway Validation Authority and Desktop Validator.
