Field Property Damage Adjuster
We are seeking a Field Property Damage Adjuster to work independently from home within an
assigned territory. This position involves property damage estimating and first-party claims handling.
A three-week training period will be conducted at our home office in Hanover, MD, after which the
adjuster will transition to remote fieldwork. A company vehicle, laptop, and smartphone will be
provided.
Responsibilities
• Complete in-person inspections at tow lots, body shops, and vehicle owners' residences or places of
employment in the assigned territory.
• Prepare virtual repair estimates based on customer and vendor-provided photos.
• Determine total loss evaluations when applicable.
• Negotiate supplements with body shops in a timely manner.
• Review policy coverage and limits to ensure claim validity.
• Analyze the facts of loss to establish liability.
• Make payment determinations based on company guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive claim documentation according to company standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders.
Qualifications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Auto damage estimating experience, including CCC One appraisal software proficiency.
• Claims file handling experience in an adjusting role, including 1st party collision and comprehensive
claims handling experience (preferred).
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies.
• A Pennsylvania adjuster license is required or must be obtained within the first 30 days of
employment. The company will cover the cost of training and licensing.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
