Hybrid/Remote Property Damage Adjuster
We are seeking a Hybrid/Remote Property Adjuster to work from our home office in Hanover, MD
or remotely from a home office. This role involves property damage estimating and first-party
claims handling. If fieldwork is required, a company vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders.
- Prepare virtual repair estimates based on customer and vendor-provided photos.
- Determine total loss evaluations when applicable.
- Negotiate supplements with body shops in a timely manner.
- Review policy coverage and limits to ensure claim validity.
- Analyze the facts of loss to establish liability.
- Make payment determinations based on company guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive claim documentation according to company standards.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Auto damage estimating experience, including CCC One appraisal software proficiency.
- Claims file handling experience in an adjusting role.
- 1st party collision and comprehensive claims handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies.
- A Pennsylvania adjuster license is required or must be obtained within the first 30 days of
employment. The company will cover the cost of training and licensing.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
