As a Data Analyst you will support a centralized capability that provides acquisition support services across PEO DHMS, its PMOs, and the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM) office. This is an exciting, mission-driven opportunity to enhance the delivery of care through a suite of current and new products that improve clinical, business, and analytic functions across the DoD patient experience.
In this role, you will collaborate with government program/product stakeholders, contracting specialists, and other acquisition experts, receiving input and guidance from project teams focused on both specific initiatives and long-term transformation goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a proactive, independent approach with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery methods is highly valuable.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The role’s duties will evolve dynamically as part of a unified, agile team. The Data & SharePoint Analyst (Acquisition) will be required to support different parts of the following duties, as assigned:
• Track key acquisition metrics and develop dashboards to be hosted on DHMS SharePoint
• Perform data analysis to identify acquisition schedule requirements proactively
• Develop and send backlog reports every three weeks
• Monitor stakeholder progress to meet schedule requirements
• Troubleshoot and enhance the acquisition platform SharePoint and Planners
• Gather input and draft a monthly acquisition platform digest for key stakeholders and clients
• Manage centralized document management and knowledge capture
• Continuously improve backlog capture and reporting processes
• Identify areas for process and reporting improvement and execute agreed-upon initiatives
Key Requirements and Competencies:
Basic Requirements:
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Agile tools such as Jira and Trello strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Planner, and SharePoint
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to manage multiple and fragmented responsibilities effectively
Experience & Expertise:
• 2 years of professional experience providing project management and data analysis support
• Experience cleansing large data files using tools like Alteryx or similar applications
• Experience developing dashboards using Excel, PowerBI, and posting in a SharePoint environment
• Proficiency in creating concise presentations to communicate complex concepts to an executive audience
• Demonstrated experience producing tailored written deliverables for various audiences
• Professional experience or certifications in Agile and/or Scrum methods
• Program, project, or product management experience in Federal acquisition efforts
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Knowledge and experience with software systems and supporting programs/services
• Experience planning and completing acquisition milestones successfully
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
