Requirements:
- Current or previous nursing license
Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Bring patient from lobby/waiting area to appropriate room(s) for their appointment.
- Take and document (written and in medical record) patient’s vital signs.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
- Maintain inventory for all medications for in-office use.
- Maintain stock of medical supplies and medications in clinical rooms.
- Follow turn-over procedures in each clinical room for each patient.
- Anticipate and setup clinical space for each patient.
- Assist medical provider with patient visit or procedure as and when needed.
- Take and organize before and after pictures for patients.
- Draw patient’s blood.
- Communicate with current patients via phone, message, email, portal, etc. (i.e. lab results, refill requests, medical questions, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Keep inventory of blood draw supplies.
- Order blood draw supplies.
- Troubleshoot issues with lab vendors regarding lab results and lab add-ons.
- Order lab add-ons at time of blood draw and within 7-days of lab draw.
- Responsible for maintenance and care of lab equipment and printers.
- Communicate with lab vendors regarding lab equipment to include printers.
- Responsible as the primary point of contact for lab vendors.
- Share rotating laundry duty with office staff.
- Document requested changes for relevant processes in online training manual.
- Make male syringe bag kits.
- Cross-train with other clinical staff on additional clinic duties and responsibilities.
