What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Administrative Assistant (Litigation) position at AGG Legal Staffing?
Law firm located in Century City is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant with previous experience supporting Attorneys in civil litigation matters, including three or more years creating Table of Contents and Authorities, eFiling in State and Federal Courts, advanced knowledge of formatting, proofreading and organizing legal pleadings in Word and Adobe, high ability to communicate with clients and court personnel, calendar important dates and deadlines and a proven working knowledge of California Court rules and regulations. This person will also be responsible for:
- Prioritizing assignments and preparing often sensitive and detailed correspondence
- Preparing witness and trial binders, deposition preparation and logistics, receiving electronic filing notifications from courts for cases via Pacer accounts and court ECF accounts, and preparing exhibits for filings
- Managing the billing process to include time-entry, data review and correction, and final submission
- Scheduling appointments, making travel and/or meeting arrangements and maintaining business calendars as instructed
- Effectively establishing and maintaining well organized files, while managing the integrity of original client documents
- Maintaining confidentiality, assuring work product is accurate and presented professionally and making efforts to foster a positive rapport with all internal and external contacts

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
