Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. Your primary role will be to identify and fix issues, as well as perform routine maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
- Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and prevent accidents
- Troubleshoot and fix issues with residential painting and other decorative features
- Utilize CMMS software to track and record maintenance activities
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose and repair electrical systems
- Use welding skills to perform metal fabrication and repair
- Supervise and train junior maintenance staff to ensure effective and efficient maintenance practices
- Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and visitors
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and best practices
Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with residential painting and other decorative features
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with CMMS software
- Welding skills
- Leadership skills, including the ability to supervise and train junior staff
- Experience with electrical systems, including reading and interpreting schematics
- Ability to maintain and repair various systems and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
