Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all areas are sanitized and well-kept.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
- Execute floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of carpets using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while performing cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred; hotel or residential cleaning experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required for cleaning tasks.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
