We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and networking. Duties
- Provide technical support for office staff, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
- Manage and troubleshoot firewall configurations to ensure network security.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and tracking technical support requests.
- Assist users with VPN connectivity issues to enable secure remote access.
- Conduct computer management tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems.
- Support LAN operations by diagnosing network connectivity problems and implementing solutions.
- Offer desktop support for various operating systems and applications used within the organization.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance computer networking capabilities.
- Document all technical procedures and updates in Remedy for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in providing technical support in an office environment.
- Strong understanding of firewall management and network security principles.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting VPN issues and ensuring secure connections for remote users.
- Experience with computer management tasks, including hardware setup and software installation.
- Knowledge of LAN configurations and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
- Ability to provide effective desktop support across various operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.).
- Understanding of computer networking concepts and protocols.
