We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the leasing process, ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Conduct property showings and effectively communicate the benefits of leasing with prospective tenants.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for both the company and tenants.
- Utilize OneSite software for managing lease agreements, tenant information, and property listings.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including applications, contracts, and correspondence.
- Assist in the administration of Section 8 housing programs as needed.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
- Provide legal administrative support by ensuring compliance with local housing laws and regulations related to property leasing.
Experience
- Proven experience in property leasing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding leasing goals.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of legal aspects related to property leasing and tenant rights is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience in facilities management or administrative roles will be considered an asset.
