Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and enhance their dining experience.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash register operations.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail recipes.
- Familiarity with retail math, cash register operations, and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in fine dining establishments is a plus but not required.
