Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during surgical procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
- Prepare the surgical area by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and document vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist with patient records management.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and information regarding procedures.
- Utilize X-Ray technology as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices in surgical assistance.
Skills
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for patient management.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation processes.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and team members effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and sterile work environment.
