Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Create samples of projects ahead of time (lesson plans and curriculum provided)
- Teach various art techniques and concepts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Foster a positive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on their artistic development weekly through class notes
- Participate in community events, exhibitions, and community outreach programs to promote the arts
- Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate innovative practices into the curriculum
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field preferred
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Classroom Management
- Knowledge of Behavior Management techniques to support diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
