The Basics of a Branch Operations Supervisor role :
Weekly schedules will be set between the hours of Monday thru Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm.
Rotating Saturdays 8 : 30 am to 1 : 30 pm
Full Time / Exempt Position
What you'll do as a Branch Operations Supervisor :
In partnership with Branch Operations leadership, the Branch Operations Supervisor role will direct all aspects of day-to-day branch operations, including leadership over the Branch Associate and Teller roles, all aimed at achieving branch goals.
Team Member Leadership :
Collaborate with Branch Manager to attract, hire, coach, and engage assigned team members through servant leadership and continuous coaching.
Reinforce the Credit Union’s mission, vision, and core values by serving as a culture agent, motivating team members to achieve higher standards, and promoting a commitment to a Top-Tier member experience.
Partner with team members through intentional career path development.
Perform all aspects of supervisory responsibilities including scheduling, handling time off (vacation and sick) requests, performance coaching, daily workflow, etc.
Active engagement with the team to keep a pulse on daily branch activities.
Branch Operations Leadership :
Collaborate with Branch Manager to lead in the successful execution of branch goals.
Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Branch Operations with an emphasis on fraud and loss mitigation.
Perform periodic audit of safety deposit box and spot audits of team member transactions.
Recommend process improvements to streamline or reduce cost.
Assist team members in resolving complex member issues.
Coordinate volunteer events to expand Credit Union reach.
Act in the capacity of a Branch Manager when the Branch Manager is out of the office.
Other Duties :
Comply with the credit union Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and Anti Money Laundering and Member Due Diligence Procedures. The BSA training is to be completed within 90 days of employment and annually thereafter.
Complete compliance and career development training as assigned.
Act as a Notary Public and perform Medallion Signature Guarantee service as needed.
Lead and delegate special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must Haves for a Branch Operations Supervisor :
Servant Leadership, Verbal & Written Communication, Attention to Detail, Complex Problem Solving, Coaching & Upskilling.
2 years of credit union or banking experience in a branch operations role.
HS Diploma / GED
Nice to Have for a Branch Operations Supervisor :
Supervisory experience
Bilingual in English & Spanish
