Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable form and finishing technician to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for shaping, forming, and finishing sign components to meet design specifications and quality standards. This role involves operating various machinery, applying finishing techniques, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Day and Night shift available. 52-60 hours avg. / 6 days a week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working with both hand tools and power tools to create high-quality custom products from various materials.
- The individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects meet the required specifications and standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Manage and handle materials such as vinyl, acrylic, metal, wood, and glass used in sign fabrication.
- Skilled in cutting by operating equipment, forming, shaping, and finishing various materials like metal, acrylic, wood, and vinyl.
- Apply finishing techniques such as sanding, painting, and polishing to ensure a smooth and aesthetically pleasing final product.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
