Job Summary:
The Help Desk Specialist is a customer service-oriented position that provides end-user support both in person and to remote employees. They provide technical support to users that are experiencing computer hardware, software, cell phone, and other general technology-related issues. They respond to Help Desk requests, understand issues, troubleshoot, and implement solutions. AGI is a highly dynamic, fast-paced company that requires tremendous interpersonal and professional flexibility in all areas of Information Technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintain laptops and desktops, user accounts, and network devices.
- Problem resolution with desktops, laptops and network devices including printers and copiers.
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of a wide range of business systems and functions.
- Support users in effective use of desktop tools as well as business system features and functions.
- Work with all levels of the organization in problem solving and researching solutions.
· Repair/replace personal computer hardware and recover from viruses.
- Help desk support.
Job Specifications:
· Education: B.S degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a dynamic customer service or help desk environment.
· Computer Skills: Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware and Office 365 tools.
