Digital Transformation, IT Director

Agile Connection Group is seeking a skilled Digital IT Director to lead Digital Transformation efforts. As the Digital IT Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving digital transformation strategies across the organization. This role will involve establishing frameworks for initiatives in key areas such as Data & Analytics, Innovation, Intelligent Solutions, and enhancing the Digital User Experience.

Operational Management

  • Employ strategic tools to develop and assess technological options, ensure logical reasoning, and advance experiences.
  • Participate in the development and use of tools to facilitate strategy development and processes associated with budgeting, portfolio management, and other areas as needed.
  • Provide program oversight and senior leadership teams in the implementation
  • Provide program oversight to data management and analytics in the implementation of efforts transforming COA into a data driven enterprise.
  • Identify, lead, and manage approaches to business challenges
  • Provide oversight for governance of projects, performance measurement, and portfolio management.
  • Manage complex projects and programs to achieve targeted and measured business goals and key objectives.
  • Identify, lead, and manage innovative approaches to business challenges and work with teams to deliver customer centric solutions.
  • Leverage user-centered design methods to implement customer centric solutions.
  • Research and explore special initiatives supporting program objectives and priorities.

Relationship Management / Leadership

  • Cultivate creative solutions to manage group processes - e.g., managing conflict and driving alignment.
  • Establish a team of key resources to support program implementation and operationalization for areas of accountability.
  • Establish and effectively manage relationships both internally and externally, including public / private partnerships.
  • Collaborate with staff to design and recommend the process for strategy execution planning.
  • A ssist with managing strategy for building collaboration with departments- e.g., effective communication and emphasis on relationship management.
  • Provide direct people leadership support, including performance management, work prioritization and associated administrative responsibilities, for direct reports.
  • Participate in department wide activities (e.g., learning sessions, all staff meetings, performance reviews).
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional leadership skills with exceptional communication and presence.
  • Demonstrates extremely high emotional intelligence.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple IT control and project management practices and experience working across large infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategy.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and operational management skills.
  • The ability to analyze projects, assess technical risk, and communicate the impact to the business.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, or an applicable field of study (equivalent professional experience and / or certifications will be considered).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in related and relevant technology disciplines.
  • Minimum of 7 years of advancing IT leadership required.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 5 or more years working in a public sector environment.
