Senior QA Engineer

Currently, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help drive QA efforts for verifying the quality and reliability of the Resova product. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and have a deep understanding of best practices for different testing techniques for the web. The platform leverages TestRail, Jira, Postman, AWS, Laravel, React, Angular.

Responsibilities

• Support all levels of testing for the frontend applications and backend services, including integration, black-box, regression, and automated testing;
• Own design, development, and execution of test suites for internally developed applications to ensure proper operation and quality;
• Review product requirements to develop effective test plans and data sets for testing;
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineering, product, and internal operations teams;
• Help reproduce issues reported by customer-service and account-management teams and log them with screenshots / screen-recordings in Jira.
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in QA with some exposure to automation;
• Experience with testing of both desktop and mobile web applications;
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex issues using tools like Postman, Chrome Dev Tools, TestFlight, or equivalent;
• Solid experience in writing detailed documentation, tickets, and test-case using tools like Jira, Confluence and TestRail.
  
  

Bonus points for

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• Familiarity with UI automation using Cypress/webdriver.io or similar;
• Ability to perform SQL Database queries;
• Experience in testing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms;
• Experience in a growth stage company/startup a plus;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to have fun in a small team environment.
