SharePoint Migration Implementation Lead

Minimum Technical Qualifications

As of the Offer Due Date, the proposed project person must have the following listed experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as evidenced by Attachment II, Proposed Project Person Skill Summary Sheet and resume:

1. At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years leading a migration project from Windows file shares onto Microsoft SharePoint and/or SharePoint Online, Teams or OneDrive.
2. At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years designing a Microsoft SharePoint and/or SharePoint Online site with features and elements that support the business operations involving files and folders.

1. At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years configuring Microsoft SharePoint and/or SharePoint Online with security controls to enforce the least privilege access principles.

1. At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years developing programming scripts to automate the migration process and to update the hyperlinks in the files after migration.

1. At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years creating training materials and providing training to business users, and knowledge transfer to IT staff.

Desirable Technical Qualifications

It is desirable for the proposed project person to have the following listed experience, knowledge, skills and abilities as evidenced by Attachment II, Proposed Project Person Skill Summary Sheet and resume:

1. Experience providing consulting services to State and/or Federal agencies in the USA.

1. Experience working as an implementation lead in a network file share migration project.

1. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows file shares best practices and standards.

1. Ability to collaboratively interact with business users, vendors and other contractors to understand business processes and solicit business requirements.

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

1. The proposed project person will be able to adhere to the hybrid working model by working on-site 2-3 days per week at CalSTRS Headquarters, West Sacramento, CA. If no, provide a short explanation. (no points)
