Position Summary :
Regency Surgery Center (operating under parent organization Agile Occupational Medicine, LLC) is looking for a Surgical Technologist who will function as a member of the surgical team in creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons. This is a working environment with a great group of friendly medical providers and staff.
Responsibilities :
- Functions in the scrub role by preparing, organizing, and anticipating needed instruments, supplies, and equipment for safe patient care and operative procedure
- Assist in the preparation of surgery rooms
- Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment
- Demonstrates the proper use, cleaning, processing, and storage of instruments and equipment
- Assist in cleaning, restocking, and room turnover
- Assists in non-surgical patient intervention under the direct supervision of a physician or RN
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to assist with additional unit needs as necessary
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
