Seeking a Transactions Specialist to join our Real Estate Finance Practice Group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Closing matters including document compilation, dating and finalization, uploads, and closing binder management.
- Post-closing matters including custodial packages, closing binders, mailings, and follow-up on title documents.
- Working in tandem with deal team (attorneys, paralegals, and assistants) to finalize and receive all loan documents and related diligence.
- Tenant estoppel and lease reviews.
- Assist paralegals and attorneys in preparing title documents.
- Assist with signature page preparation.
- Loan summaries and due diligence questionnaires.
- Assist with coordination of post-closing projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified candidates will have a college degree and/or a paralegal certificate.
- 1-2 years of prior legal experience in a law firm is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on MS Word and to a lesser extent Excel.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document creation, editing, and management.
- Good working knowledge of document management systems; experience with NetDocuments is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to adjust for competing deadlines and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to work overtime if and when required.
