What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Recruiter - Software and Hardware position at Agile Resources, Inc.?
Our innovative client is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join their team!
Location: Cedar Park, TX (Onsite 4 days/week, remote 1 day/week optional)
This is a W2 Contract role and is not open to third-parties or candidates on C2C.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Own the full lifecycle recruitment for a variety of technical engineering roles (hardware and software focused).
- Proactively source and screen candidates with engineering backgrounds (mechanical, electrical, embedded controls, software, etc.).
- Manage the recruitment process using Recruiting tools and systems.
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools like Handshake to identify and engage talent.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand needs and provide regular updates.
Here is what our ideal candidate has:
- Minimum 5 years of technical recruiting experience, ideally filling similar engineering roles.
- Experience recruiting for positions in the software and hardware engineering space is required. This is including but not limited to Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Software Engineers, Project Engineers, Application Engineers, Combustion Engineers, Embedded Controls, etc.
- Proven success sourcing and screening technical talent.
- Experience using an ATS/Recruiting System (Honeit preferred) and professional networking tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, etc,).
- An outgoing and extraverted personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative approach, open to feedback, and a strong work ethic.
- A commitment to building diverse candidate pools.
