Product Specialist Job Description
Agile Retail is building a team of product specialists for a long-term experiential marketing program stretching until the end of 2025 with the potential to renew through 2026. Team members must be comfortable with representing a nicotine product in the bar and nightlife space. Full training on the product will be provided, but the ideal candidate must be able to approach people and discuss nicotine products. Hyper-compliance to brand guidelines and local regulations is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s nicotine product portfolio, including features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
- Customer Support: Act as a subject matter expert for customers, partners, and internal teams by addressing inquiries, providing recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about nicotine product regulations and ensure all marketing, sales, and operational practices align with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Education & Training: Attend all mandatory training sessions.
- Reporting: report in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to locations within your metro area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for the customer service and a commitment to responsible product stewardship.
- Must be able to legally enter locations that primarily serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must be able to commit to a multi-day in person training the middle of March. This time will be fully paid.
Preferred Skills – Still apply if you don’t have all of these!
- Experience as a product specialist or long-term brand ambassador representing a product in a highly regulated market – spirits, cannabis or nicotine especially.
- Experience working in local nightlife venues.
Rate
- $30 hour plus incentives
- W2 Employee, paid twice per month
- Maximum 28 hours/week with a flexible schedule
- Long term (8 months to start) program with the possibility of extension
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
