Job Title: Registered Nurses Med/Surg
Location: Chinle, AZ
Start date: Mar 2025.
Duration: 1 year (options for 26 weeks or fulltime)
Shift times: 7 shifts/2-week period days and Nights 12 hours
Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding discharge planning and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in the sterilization process of medical instruments as needed.
- Assist in urgent care situations, providing critical interventions when necessary.
- Support patients undergoing mammography procedures by ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in medical-surgical nursing.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- or urgent care is preferred.
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.
- Experience working with children or in a clinic setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
