Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and health history evaluations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management.
- Assist in sterile processing of instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform catheterization procedures when necessary, maintaining high standards of care.
- Participate in the development of pediatric nursing protocols, including MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments.
- Engage in sonography procedures as required, demonstrating knowledge of anatomy relevant to pediatric care.
- Suture minor wounds under supervision, adhering to best practices for wound care.
Experience
Candidates should possess a valid Registered Nurse license with experience in pediatric nursing preferred. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques, anatomy knowledge, sonography skills, and sterile processing is highly desirable. The ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating excellent communication skills is essential for success in this role. Experience with Epic electronic health records is an advantage.

Pay: $70.08 - $74.53 per hour
